A delicious red that shows red plums, brambleberries, undergrowth, cedar and freshly cut herbs. Medium to full body, delightful, juicy tannins and a tangy, medium-long finish. A blend with equal measures of merlot, sangiovese, syrah and petit verdot. Drink now or hold.

Critic tasting note: (2019 vintage) "A reduced nose of freshly poured tar and sulfur meets a luxurious contrast of muddled raspberry and strawberry, before hints of top soil and tobacco emerge. The palate of this wine turns to fresher red fruit, mostly cherry, with soil and gravel. Linear but substantial tannins and a firm backbone of acid work well together." - 90/100, Wine Enthusiast
